Cheerful Givers are a US charity who just like to give! They've just joined us on Thanksto so I'm really happy about that.

Their mission is to provide toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift. We believe this simple gesture boosts self-esteem, enhances self-worth, and strengthens bonds in families.

I think this is a great charity because I think every child deserves a gift on their birthday, even if it is just a pack of cards, or a toy car, it also reminds me of the movie "Fred Clause" when Fred has to spend his Christmas with his brother Nicholas Clause at the North Pole.

If you've never seen the movie I won't ruin the ending for you but you should watch it because it's such a sweet movie. I'll put links to the organization's website and Thanksto profile in my comments.
